An Eye Checkup Camp was organised at Bhaktivedanta Gurukul on 18th November 2025 specifically for students from classes 1 to 8. The camp was conducted by a professional medical team from Riti Eye Care Hospital, who dedicatedly carried out vision screening tests to assess the children’s eye power and clarity of vision.

Each child was carefully examined to identify any vision problems, and the doctors provided valuable guidance on maintaining healthy eye habits. They advised the students to take regular breaks while studying, limit excessive screen time, and consume a balanced diet rich in vitamin A to promote good eye health.

The initiative was warmly received by the students and the school community as an important step in ensuring early detection of vision issues. It helped raise awareness about eye care and encouraged regular eye checkups among children, which is essential for their academic performance and overall well-being.

The camp successfully combined health awareness with individualized care, positively impacting the students’ understanding of eye health and the importance of vision care.
